PHOTOS: Wasafi Tightens Their Security With Mean Looking Huge Bodyguards

Diamond Platinumz recording label Wasafi Classic Boyz popularly branded as WCB has tightened their security amid speculations of things breaking loose in East Africa’s leading music producing label.

WCB has been losing its artists with Happy Birthday hit singer Harmonize being recent to leave to form his own label Konde Gang.

Diamond is the only one who knows what’s happening but as per the view of things,  Mbagala hitmaker and WCB boss is rather has invested heavily in whatever that is coming and as for now, Nobody knows what it is

In my own opinion, Diamond security looks like, that of the biggest narcotics cartel from scripted TV series. They have faces and bodies build ready to die protecting their clients. I mean, from another angle, this is, rather already is the best supper protected recording label in Africa, and they have good music too. But is these all necessary?

  • Homosexuality In Kenyan Prisons

    Homosexuality In Kenyan Prisons

You may have heard the popular phrase “Don’t drop the soap” on the inter-webs mostly used as memes. What seems to be a joke is however a reality in the prisons in Kenya.

For the longest time Prisoners in Kenya have asked to be granted conjugal visits with no success. The results have unfortunately seen a rampant increase in homosexuality.

Homosexuality among prisoners is rife and it is contributing to the high HIV and Aids prevalence among inmates, a survey on the Kenyan jails reveals.

Attempts to open a conversation on the issue has been met with resistance by prison authorities. A condom is considered contraband in prisons and when it is successfully sneaked in, a packet of three — which usually retails at Sh40 outside — goes for Sh200.

In September of 2013 inmates at Shimo La Tewa Prison in Mombasa County made requests to have conjugal rights, but Coordination Principal Secretary Josepheta Mukobe said conjugal rights could not be granted. “Some of your demands, like conjugal visits, require privacy. This can only be possible if the prisons are expanded,” the PS told the inmates during a tour of the prison.

“They don’t want to give condoms because nobody wants to admit there is homosexuality. The authorities fear that allowing condoms will be a way of endorsing the vice,” a HIV-positive inmate said during an interview

According to papers filed in a case pending before a court, prison authorities seemed to acknowledge homosexuality was a problem and expressed their frustrations in trying to stop the vice.

When convicts are taken to prison for the first time, they are tested for HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis.Prisoners who test negative on arrival soon test positive after a few years.

Men fight over new prisoners “In jail, it’s husbands and wives, not boyfriends, lovers or partners. The terms are used openly, without shame,” an inmate explained.

Young inmates find themselves in a vulnerable position. The harsh prison life is said to drive them into homosexuality. Better food, better bedding’s, a phone to call home or any other thing that would make their stay comfortable is dangled before them.

With the overcrowding and little food, some inmates have to negotiate to get additional food or even a comfortable spot in the cells to sleep in exchange for sex.

So if a prisoner doesn’t have bread and the next one has, he is forced to just ‘tango’

Out of some 59 inmates who indicated they had engaged in sex, 21 reported having consented to the act while two were raped. Five inmates received favours such as food, money or cigarettes in exchange for sex, while the rest declined to state the type of negotiation they had prior to engaging in sex.

Some inmates were unknowingly induced into drugs by colleagues only to realize later that they had been sexually violated.

Efforts by inmates to campaign against homosexuality in the prisons usually flop because they have “no goodies to offer” the recruits to make them turn down the advances. “The young inmates will fall into the trap because of greed,” says a reformed inmate, who adds that sometimes the advocates are beaten up to silence them.

Nacc, which is in charge of the response to HIV and Aids in the country, has no programme in prison.

According to a source from the Health ministry, who did not want to be named for fear of victimization, prisons are designed to confine and punish criminals. “Prisoners cannot start dictating that they want to be given conjugal rights and asking for condoms. When we agree with such cheap talk, we will be encouraging immorality,” said the source.

Despite the governments’ firm position not to supply condoms to prisoners, HIV has placed an enormous fiscal burden on prisons.

  • Only Women’s Night Club Opens In Nairobi

Only Women’s Night Club Opens In Nairobi

A recently organized party in the cities suburbs has sparked interest after people discovered only one sex can attend.

It’s an only womens party, no men are allowed in the premises to party and or work there. The bar tenders, security officers, DJs, sound mixers, MCs and ushers are all women.

    All female DJs.

Security is tight and only men dropping off women are allowed to linger but only for a moment.

The night, called Strictly Silk, was conceived by Njoki Ngumi, Njeri Gatungo and Akati Khasiani, all members of The Nest Collective, a Kenyan multi-disciplinary arts collective that also works across film, music, fashion and other arts

    Revelers having a happy time.

So what inspired this event? the founders claim the night was conceived not only for fun but for far more reason. Unpleasant experiences when out with friends in mixed clubs is part of the reason the two welcomed the idea of an all-women’s rave

“There were a lot of stories around sexual harassment. We just wanted to curate this energy in celebration of women in spaces that are not usually welcome for women and especially things to do with nightlife,” says Ms Ngumi

Kenya has been in the spotlight recently with some well publicized cases of rape and alarming cases of femicide

    Security at the event.

Women seem to like this Idea as they turn up for the night in numbers.the founder insists the nights are not gay clubs and straight women can come party without the presence of men.

“We are deliberately queer-affirming and queer-celebrating but people would imagine that this is an exclusive queer event. There are events that are exclusively queer but this is not that kind of party. We welcome all people, including non-binary people.

Ladies having a happy moment at the party.

Ms Ngumi hopes to make the all-women dance parties not only regular in Kenya but across Africa.

  • Sad Story: My Parents Never Told Me I Was Born With HIV And This Ruined My Life

Sad Story: My Parents Never Told Me I Was Born With HIV And This Ruined My Life

    Hello KenyaWest,

I like what Kenyainsights.com is doing and with the same spirit, I’ll like to share my story with your audience.

I’m writing to you not because I want sympathy neither do I intent to get or seek refuge nor help.

I kindly request you to keep my name and personal details anonymous due to a position I am in at the moment…

I was born in Mathare area 4 and grew up in the slums without going to schools.

I can count the days we used to eat in the house as far as I can remember we were starving almost everyday.

I thank God for what He has done for me because I can at least feed my self.

Fast forward to why I’m writing to you, my parents were killed in 2007 violence leaving my 7 years old me alone.

I have lived hating politicians any anyone who thinks politics is a good thing.

I have lived questioning pictures of my parents why the left me because of someone who had never given us food.

When my parents died, our landlady who was barren, as it was being said, requested to take me as her kid.

I’ve been living with her since then, she’s the reason why I can write and speak kisungu kidogo ata kama sio msuri.

Early last year, an NGO wanted to take me with them which meant I had to take a HIV test.

Troubles I have faced in life has taught me a lot so I had protected my self from irrelevant behaviors.

Going to the VCT, I knew I had never indulged in a sexual activity so I was supper confident and sure of my status.

Counseling was good and I wasn’t even bothered to think carefully when they asked “Utafanya nini ukipata uko nayo?”

We did the tests and guess what, I was HIV positive. I’ve never had sex! That’s what was only coming out of my mouth.

The results broke my heart more thinking that my parents left me to be sick alone and just like that I couldn’t join what I had been intending to.

I was taken to Post Test Counseling and further test were done to prove my virginity and second HIV Tests.

Health workers talked to my godmother and she took them to a room my parents remaining things were and they found HIV drugs and clinic documents.

My parents infected me with HIV and left me because of a stupid politician..

I have lived hating them too since I learned that they knew I was sick and didn’t bother to tell me or even take care of my medication.

I burnt all of their belongings and swore never to forgive them till I talked to the health worker who was given my case.

It took me a whole year to bring back my scattered brains and I’m writing to you my story because the health worker told me that my parents were protecting me from the stigma I could have faced.

She told me “hakuna mtu angekubali mtoto ako na UKIMWI acheze na watoto wake, ata vile wazazi walimadwa, huyu mama hangekuchukua, shukuru mungu na wazazi wako, walikusaidia ata kama hakukupeleka hosi vile inafaa”

Its not easy but I’ve learned to accept my condition and as a process to heal, I have started sharing my life story.

I know there are a lot of kids especially from ghettos who are living with HIV and don’t even know they have.

  • DJ Slugface And Why Hip Hop Can Be The Uniting Face Of The East African Community

DJ Slugface And Why Hip Hop Can Be The Uniting Face Of The East African Community

Hip Hop is now the undisputed global culture for love and entertainment.

Hip hop originated from humble streets of South Bronx in USA growing massively from the creative outlet of underrepresented black teenagers living in the late 1970s.

Hip Hop is considered by many a synonym for rap music. But it’s not, the term Hip-Hop refers to a complex culture of four elements.

    1. Deejaying popularly referred to as “turn tabling” in USA.

    2. Rapping widely known as “MCing”.

    3. Rhyming and lastly,

    4. Graffiti popularly known as graf painting.

According to the Philosopher Dr. Cornel West, Dance should be added as the 5th element of Hip Hop. He called it “postural semantics.”

According to Forbes 100, Commercialized Hip Hop business grossed over $2.8 billion in sales in the United States alone.

Hip-hop success is not only in the United States, but also, its enjoys the majority influence globally.

Mos Def, one of the few all time influential Rap Hip hop artists once said that ‘We are Hip Hop’ In his 1999 Album dubbed ‘Fear Not of Man.’

Mos Def’s “Fear Not of Man” stated that, “Me, you, everybody – we are hip-hop,” which directly implies that hip-hop music no longer represents solely the voice of the black community on the States.

Global analysis of the commercialization and globalization of the Hip Hop reveals that Mos Def’s assessment is, without doubt, correct and the genre currently represents far more than the black community.

Now with that out and aside, one DJ from Uganda has taken the mantle and wants to use the platform he has to unite all Hip Hop arts in East Africa.

Muhiire Habyara Devis, popularly known as Dj Slugface, is a Ugandan born record Producer and TV personality who’s using his platform to share and spread love to all East African people and mostly Hip hop community.

In an exclusive interview with this writer, Dj Slugface said that got exposed to music, rap hip hop, at a young age being born in 1990 when the genre was trending globally.

On why he wants to share border less love musically, Dj Slugface told us that he got inspired to always share love in whatever he’ll be doing to or with others by his own Mother.

His mother was the choir Leader at Her place of worship where Devis was a drummer during worship sessions.

Fast forward to 2012, Devis moved to Ntinda, Uganda, where he embarked on his turn tabling and Music production career.

He played and hosted the first Hip-hop radio show on touchFM which got him recognition in the UgHiphop culture.

Dj Slugface efforts got him a spot in the first ever Hip Hop Awards dubbed ‘UgHiphop Awards 2016/17’

DJ Slugface musical enthusiasm has also seen him perform at The E.A performing Arts Market that was held in 2016.

Dj Slugface is a co-founder of Onelevelmusiq, a recording label that has worked with Uganda’s finest Hip Hop artists like Pryce teeba , Blacksimba,  H.A.B.O, Santana Karma and many more.

As a music producer, DJ Slugface has directly involved in the production of Massive Hip Hop hits.

    Some of hits include;

    Badsegu- Djslugface Ft Blacksimba

Bite- Djslugface Ft Blacksimba & Pryceteeba

    Natasha’s Eyes- Markmick Ft Scarface

    Stamina-Aspika Ft Spoila & Djslugface

Davie, or as he’ll prefere to be called, DJ Slagface is currently a strong advocate in the promotion of UgHiphop In Uganda at the same time using all that he has to be the face

Currently, DJ Slugface is working on his Own E.P produced under his own recording label. Name and release dates yet to be communicated.

DJ Slugface is Inspiring a positive change in young people through an exploration of the roots of hip hop culture.

At the same time playing every single hip hop music from across EAC sent or forwaded to him in what he called “love for the culture by the culture for love.”

DJ Slugface efforts ensemble dynamic and energetic dancers too who use breakdancing and abundant audience participation to explore hip hop’s cultural roots and explaining how underserved inner city youths changed the world and entertainment industry at large.

Well on my opinion,DJ Slugface is doing something good and sooner later it will be noticed if not embraced by East African Community.

Y’all might not be fans of music and be probably asking what’s that got to do with EAC unity? Well, music and in this context, Hip Hop has to do with everything.

Music has been in our lives almost like forever. The first music introduced to our ears was lullaby songs.

At least every newborn baby was sung a lullaby, so much to an extent that I personally think many of us have been taking music for granted.

Come to think of it Music penetrates almost, well let’s just say, every part of our lives. It’s our Entertainment, our education, our relationship, our worship, keep them flowing…

Plato once said, “music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination”.

I mean, if politics has been dividing us just as much as it has made us enemies why can’t we just play music and do what it’s four principles State.

The Hip Hop’s four principles are; Peace, Love, Unity, and most importantly Fun.

Music has been, is and will definitely always be shaping and reflecting the society with more positive change effects, even though, some will say more than politics.

Hip Hop promotes ideals like peace and solidarity through it’s cultural set up of already prepared armies for battle.

Everyone should agree with me that Competitive battling is part of, almost every, important collective and personal moment.

Music is so powerful that not even Musicians themselves can explain the power that it has over our emotions. Well, for believers, isn’t that God’s divine gift?

Personally I think politics has been more diverse in a society that values clash unlike music that has been leaping across language boundaries and uniting people of totally different cultural backgrounds.

Professor Leon Botstein, former President of Bard College and music director and principal conductor of the American Symphony Orchestra once said the world can be more harmonious if everyone gives music chances and respects it deserves.

And I, Just as DJ slugface is, believe that we can all be a united community if we give music its due respect on its ability to unite us.

  • My Kikuyu Mother-in-law Is Obsessed And Wants Me To Sleep With Her

My Kikuyu Mother-in-law Is Obsessed And Wants Me To Sleep With Her

    Hello Kenya Insights

I don’t know if whatever I’m about to tell you is within your blog’s scope but there’s an issue I need to get off my chest. For privacy reasons I’ll give these people fictitious names.

I got engaged to my fiancée Mercy just when I was done with campus because she got pregnant and I didn’t want her to raise the child alone. Things went on well for time, I didn’t have a job by then so the mother-in-law insisted I go stay with her at their home in Ruiru.

At first, I thought it was something normal you know her being too kind to me, it was more of motherly love, so I thought, but I was wrong.

My fiancée had a job, I didn’t by then so most of the time I’d spend at home with the baby. I started noticing something unusual, mother-in-law would check in my room dressed skimpily whenever Mercy wasn’t around but you know I was still naive not reading any signs. She’d come to ask how the baby is doing but again how she was acting I paused and thought something was wrong.

So this weekend Mercy has traveled to Muranga for a function together with the baby, mother-in-law for some reasons asked me if I wanted to catch a drink, well she knew I was drinking and asked for my taste. Whisky it was. About 8pm, she came home with a bottle of whisky for me and a bottle of wine for herself.

I should say here that she doesn’t have an husband so we were just staying in the same house me, Mercy, herself and the baby. So she tells me to be easy, I was. She comes from her room dressed in a see through night dress. I was so disturbed at first seeing all vital parts out, this is something I didn’t expect. As a Luo man, we really respect our mothers in-law and seeing her semi naked was the last thing.

She must have read the unease on my face, “usiogope sisi ni watu wakubwa” she told me with seductive eyes. So I’m just there downing my whisky and it’s taking toll of me. I’m only used to drinking with people and here I am with a whole bottle of whisky for myself.

About 11 ish, she moves closer to me, I’m high as hell, I can see she’s also high. She started touching me, telling me how jealous she’s been and that she’s been hearing her daughter’s moans when we sleeping and that has really been turning her on. In my head I’m like what in the hell is going on here but my head is retarded I can’t think straight.

Im caught up in a moment, before long she’s already touching my Willy and saying how big it is. Things are getting really uncomfortable and I gather the courage and told her “No” I step back and go straight to my room. She follows me there, yaani this woman was another level of horny. Told her it was in appropriate and I was not ready for that, in my head I was like if this happens I’ll be so cursed.

After all her calls went into futile, she finally goes to her room. I passed out.

Momths later, she organized a ka family vacay and took us all to Coast. This time she boldly told me that lazima nimfanyie tukienda. So we get there we all have separate hotel rooms. It was on a Saturday, a day after we had arrived. She tells me to feign sickness so when Mercy goes out with her friends, I’ll be in the hotel, honestly, I wasn’t just feeling well that day so I guess it coincided with her plans.

However, I wasn’t in for her so I just remained in the room with the baby as Mercy went clubbing. So she calls me to her room that we need to talk on an issue. Just when I knocked s d she opened the door, this woman pulled me like a goat on super heat, kissed me and started rubbing my willy. I was caught off guard. Again, I pushed her away. I told her I wasn’t up for it. She did a lot of seduction I wasn’t up for it. Though I must admit her booty was so big it got into my head, she was generally good looking but she’s my mother-in-law I wasn’t going to do it.

So I managed to escape and went back to the room and that was it.

So fast forward years on, this woman has had bile on me, hatred on mighty levels, she loathes me, talks crap about me to the daughter. While myself I know the roots of it all, Mercy doesn’t know a thing, I can’t tell her, it’s weird even thinking about it. Here’s an obsessed woman with her son-in-law, she’s been willing to destroy her relationship with her own daughter for a piece of dick?

I’ve been troubled, I can’t even tell any of my friends or parents about this, it’s not only traumatizing but shameful, I lost my respect for her, I can no longer look at her the same way.

We eventually parted ways with Mercy or lemme just say we’re currently separated with her abroad but I hope we will be together soon. About six years later, the mother-in-law still calls “just checking on you” who does that? She calls me more than the daughter.

I want to know how to get myself out of this mess, I have a son, her grandchild, I’m not ready to break my family and she’s here to stay, what do I do? Should I tell the daughter? What are the possible implications? Should I come out like I have in this mail? I’m going mad, this woman is all on my face, I can’t give into her demands, she has even promised me a car if I agree to sleep with her. I don’t get it but this woman is devilishly obsessed with me. What should I do?

EXCLUSIVE: Radio Wars Takes New Twist As Survey Shows NRG Has Overtaken KISS 100 And Classic FM In Audiences

Between NRG Radio and Kiss 100 Just to give you a bit of context, NRG Radio is, according to a recent research report by TIFA, the number one name in music! A fete that they have been able to accomplish in just one year of operation! Their brand marketing strategy remains the envy of many and has sent shockwaves across the media industry triggering a war.

Nation Media group were the first to swing a punch with the launch of their youth platform Lit 360 which is yet to take root, despite them recruiting radio bad boy Fareed Khimani, and has quickly fallen off the fray and will be soon dead and buried! Capital FM re-organized their presenter line-up shedding off some dead weight and poached Fareed Khimani from Nation. Whether this will have an impact is for the research numbers to tell.

American Superstar Omarion and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz at the NRG studios in a past interview.

One FM and Two FM abrubptly shut down with industry speculators claiming that they were sold off to NRG Radio who took over the 97.1FM frequency and have since launched FunX on 91.3FM and Choice Radio on 87.7FM.

Most recently, and faced with collapse and with need to quickly reinvent and stay relevant in a market they were already losing, KISS 100 made the boldest move yet when they poached Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe from NRG Radio to take over their flagship breakfast show that served as a platform for Caroline Mutoko and Adelle Onyango to build a national profile, and move on to more meaningful pursuits!

To accord the same opportunity to an inexperienced Kamene Goro and the foul-mouthed Andrew Kibe might be a mistep that may cost them dearly! Like a blind man without a walking stick heading towards a wall, it’s obvious what happens next. Rumor also has it that popular online personality Xtian Dela, will be joining the team as a producer.

NRG Radio having invested in developing their own talent (photoshoots, concerts, billboards, fancy cars and all), quickly moved to court citing breach of contract and secured a court order barring Kamene and Kibe from going on air on July 1 2019.

Latest Tifa poll on the radio market command in Nairobi.

In a strange twist of events, the CEOs of both NRG Radio and Kiss 100 held a secret meeting at the late Bob Collymore’s cremation in Kariokor. Sources at the invite-only event confirm that the two were seen exchanging pleasantries.

Kenya Insights can now excusively reveal Radio Africa’s elaborate plan to copy and paste NRG Radio’s business model in an effort to rescue its dwindling fortunes. NRG which is the new kid in the block has in a short timeframe managed to capture the market more so the young and hippyish to run the airwaves in Nairobi. Previous giants like Kiss and Citizen are only watching in envy and this is understandable.

    Below are photos of their new-look copy-paste studios;

    The face change ongoing.

And you can definitely look out for those online follow trains. One thing is for sure, NRG Studios, technology and brand strategy have made all their competitors look very old school.

Inside one of the NRG studios.

Kiss is desparately trying to catch up but poaching NRG talent is not the answer but the uniqueness of the product. NRG for instance made waves with the live audio and visual transmission. They may have gotten lucky with poaching Caroline Mutoko and Maina Kageni from Capital FM but compromising their principles to hire someone like Andrew Kibe will definitely turn away female audiences.

Combined with the fact that they still have the same playlist with the same 100 songs, they will definitely turn off the few remaining fans they may have left. Waiting to see what NRG has in store to teach them a bloody good lesson.

Intriguing: Why The Wife To The Late Reclusive Billionaire Wilfred Murugi Never Wanted Him To View Her Body And Kids To Never Marry

Mastermind Tobacco tycoon Wilfred M’iti Murungi lived a reclusive life. He hardly mixed with villagers in his Magutuni area, Tharaka-Nithi County.

When he died last week, the villagers and his friends were still asked to keep off.

Only eight family members were allowed to witness the burial ceremony that took approximately one hour.

Heavily armed police officers from Magutuni and Chogoria police stations deployed at his palatial homes guarded the three gates, making sure that no single curious villager sneaked in to watch the casket containing the body of the man they referred to as ‘Master’ being lowered into the grave.

Two helicopters, one carrying the casket and the other one family members and a cleric from Nairobi, touched down at Kiurani Primary School at around 11.10 a.m. A classy Mercedes-Benz hearse was on standby to ferry the body to his home, about a kilometre away.

The casket was hurriedly taken out of the chopper and loaded onto the hearse by the family members, among them his two sons and two daughters.

While this was something the residents who came in droves for burial didn’t anticipate, it was something familiar to them. The tycoon’s Wife was also buried in a similar pattern.

Mastermind used to live in the US with his wife, but when he came and started his company in Nakuru and became prosperous the wife went on to the US to run other businesses.

Subsequently she had a Mpango wa kando there behind the tycoon, a Ben ten. This strained their marriage and she stayed there until she fell sick and wrote her will that excluded Mr Murungi Mastermind from the burial.

“While they buried her he went to his mother’s home and stayed there. He did not go to Nairobi immediately like alleged in the Media.” A source says.

Continues, “The wife, Joyce was so jealous. Kamati ya roho chafu. She didn’t want anyone to share in their estate. The reason she demanded that her kids do not marry.” None of The children have married following their mother’s wishes.

Apparently, the late wife made a bitter wish when she fell sick in the US and she became very bitter and wrote her will and wishes and commissioned an attorney from the US to bring the contents of her will and wishes on her final rights. She coowned the companies in the US and Kenya with the tycoon.

His handler and trusted ally after his wife’s drama and running to the US was and his last Born brother a 65 year old Mr Mutegi who has been largely blamed for mismanagement of his burial of the billionaire.

Even in death Mutegi blocked people from paying their last respects to a man they fondly called master, their employer and their champion.

He lead a quiet life but was involved deeply in mount Kenya foundation(Mt Kenya mafia) to fund campaigns for presidential candidates and recently buying of cars for central Kenya provincial administration. He’s an instrumental person in the group.

In recent years he changed alot and became very reclusive. In 80s and 90s he used to hang around the village with his childhood friends and family which changed drastically and he became very private.

His death came at a time the area MP was battling with him to snatch a contract a company associated with him to build the road that also passes near his home. It’s so intriguing and confusing no-one on the family can tell you why he was buried that way.

Murugi’s family included: Angela who’s described as very nice but reclusive just like her father. Audrey him of House of waine Karen, Allan who owns Sierra Breweries and said to be the friendliest and finally Eric.

  • Gospel Artists HopeKid And DK Kwenye Beat Admits To Sleeping And Infecting A Lady With STI As Porn Bit Surfaces

Gospel Artists HopeKid And DK Kwenye Beat Admits To Sleeping And Infecting A Lady With STI As Porn Bit Surfaces

New details continue to emerge in what is a circle of sex scandals rocking Kenya’s gospel industry. An anonymous lady had exposed famous gospel artists;HopeKid and DK Kwenye Beat for having lured her into an orgy.

According to the unnamed lady, she had something going on with HopeKid who then invited her to his house so she traveled from Nakuru to Nairobi for sex with the youthful artist. Things took a quick turn when HopeKid came to pick her in the company of DK.

Imstead of going to HopeKid’s house, he drove her to DK’s where they both slept with her in turns. The young lady who narrates her past as having been sexually abused by her relatives and describing herself as a sexual wreck, would later start off another relationship with DK.

Again, the met separately with DK and this time slept without protection and says it’s here that she contracted herpes. She’s been on treatment ever since so she says. While there’s no reported case on the same, the lady insists the threesome wasn’t consensual and that she was raped by the two artists.

    While many had cast doubts on the accusations, the two artists seemed to have admitted having done the awful act with their apologies. This game hours after the story went viral on social media;

    DK Kwenye Beat

DKKWENYEBEAT: Following the story going around, I would like first and foremost to repent to God Almighty for living a life of sin. Secondly I would wish to apologize to my girlfriend who has been nothing but supportive to me especially during this difficult season. I would also wish to apologize to the church fraternity, my family, everyone who consumes my music and anyone who looks up to me Am Sorry.

I am not a perfect man. I am a fallen man but one that God is working on every day. I am a changed man from what I was back then. I am working my salvation with fear and trembling. Sadly this story has come out when I am on my way to complete reformation.

My prayer is that one day my ugly past will amount to an amazing testimony of God’s grace and redeeming power! For now, I am walking with Godly counsel as I seek to become the true man and minister of the gospel that God created me to be.

    HopeKid.

HOPEKID: Proverbs 24:16 “For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” I write this with a very heavy heart. I have done wrong before God and man. I am truly sorry. I am not a righteous man. I am a young man who has made mistake (which I am sorry for). I sincerely apologize to all who have been hurt as a result of my action.

I believe that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I have repented of my sins and I am pursuing a life that is pleasing to Christ to the best of my ability. I have some pastors and some godly men who are walking with me in this path and I thank them for standing with me in this difficult time.

To all my fans, supporters, family and friends: I apologize for letting you down. I have fallen but God will raise me up. God will work this around for his glory! I urge you all to pray for me as I go through this restoration process. God bless you!

And when you thought that would calm the storm, then you didn’t see the next coming. Size 8, a fellow gospel artist who made the switch from secular where she made a name out of being raunchy, attempted to come to the rescue of her colleagues, has come under harsh criticism for coming out as a rape sympathizer.

While the debate took heat, another audio clip had emerged of DK openly admitting to having slept with the girl and clearly stating it wasn’t take rather consensual and if there’s any evidence of take then the girl can as well take him to court. He comes out unapologetic and dismissive in what seems like a secretly recorded audio when they were having a boys chat.

While staying on the limelight, DK seem to have fetishes and forgetting he’s a gospel artist, on his Twitter account, the minister of God seem to be a liver of pornography as shown by the type of material he likes, on his profile, a lady giving head can be seen publicly.

  • The Rise and Rise of Laying, an Occupation for The Beauties Without Brains

The Rise and Rise of Laying, an Occupation for The Beauties Without Brains

No one finds life worth living, you make it worth in order to survive in this world where you can be anything you resolve to be. Our girls are resolving to be slays over any other career you can think of. There are no statistics to back this but i think the most sort after careers in Kenya today are slaying and procurement. It’s a blind race, many who choose to slay are running from poverty not aware of where they are running to. These crop of young girls and still sexy women dont buy the anology that little drops of water and grains of sand make the mighty ocean and pleasant land.

They are not hard to notice, graduating slays are small girls below 25 but listening to rhumba. They embrace near bad girl attitude, always with a packet of cancer sticks because they believe its sexy to smoke when waiting for sponsors, when arguing with cab drivers or whenever its time to go ratchet, smash and rob. This is what life has become, while conning men chest thumb with briefcase companies, light skin and bootylicious women have their offices between their legs (kra should find a way of taxing slays).

Many are making a living this way or beginning like this and get to greater heights. There are quite a number of female honourable members who took shots in their bottoms to rise to the top, I mean from selling or sleeping on bedsheets to sitting in boardrooms and now to making love and laws. Yes and you can only achieve that if you stay loyal to one or two sponsors.

If anything this is not an easy occupation, sponsors can drop a slay anytime especially if the slay is young and naive or if she tries to play smart with miscalculated or if her supporting documents shed off in this industry where bootylicious and light skin women dominate the market. A sponsor can look like anything or faceless so long as the pockets are deep.

But who is to blame, harsh economic times, unemployment or lack of female role models? Most of the women in senior government positions have no inspirational and complete family set ups that can positively inspire young girls who may be looking upto to them. If its not some story of messy and noisy divorce, it’s a story of old single and having fun or loving whoever and whatever, partying and kicking with small boys or the husband has just been reduced to a near woman kind of figure who can be disrespected at will.

We have heard of many female lawmakers or ministers who phisically abuse or disrespect their have not husbands. Former nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro made news on this. Look at the stories about Martha Karua, Prof.Olive Mugenda, Rachel Shebesh and Pasaris among others.

Some respected female lawmakers who chair or sit in powerful committees in parliament share sipping straws. Pathetic. I mean the female law makers who made the little known Wazir Chacha the man of the year 2018. An entire whatsapp group where Sabina Chege must have been the admin, all sipped the young man’s thick juice.

What message does that send to our young girls? Some women in serious leadership also come out as ‘male women’, not just with the vibrating baritone but to what they speak in public and how they conduct themselves, ladies like Jumwa you know, untamed Millie Odhiambo to Caro Mutoko, an all time slay who preaches water and sips wine.

She confirms that slays are mostly beautiful and brainless girls but a few scholars and professionals also make money from this dirty game. This list is dominated by media girls with a few exceptions, the likes of Lilian Muli, Jackie Wanjiru, Kamene Goro the ratchet queen, Betty, Grace and K. Nyamu. These are slays with lucrative careers.

The only slays who come clean are socialites, every young girls dream. They pioneer as instagram models, the next thing they are in some rapper’s music video, smashes with the same rapper, his friends and producer, dumps one of them via blog then theynmove to hanging with promotors then first MPs and then becomes an house hold name socialite/slay queen. Vera Sidika and Hudda Monroe must be doing a great job.
