    Juja Police have arrested Mwitethie ward Member of county assembly, Julias Macharia Taki.

    Taki was arrested yester night at around 8pm alongside his driver, George Ngugi Kiarie.

    Juja area OCPD told the investigators of this site that they received a tip off from a ‘concerned’ citizen, that the two were driving a black Toyota Hiace with pics of DP Ruto in full Military fatigue.

    The Toyota Hiace under registration no. KCQ 918U,
    had pics of William Ruto in Military fatigue with badge, national flag and the Commander in Chief with Portrait of the Court of Arms.

    The two are booked at Juja Police Station under OB 93/27/5/2019.

    The vehicle has been detained at Juja Police Station yard pending investigations.

    Juja OCPD said the two will be arraigned in Thika Chief’s Magistrate court.

    They will be charged of contravening section 3(a) CAP 99.
    Laws of Kenya of the
    National Flag, Emblems and Names Act.

    Probably no, because they are busy in corridors of courts seeking their freedom and ‘justice’.

    Our August house is full of crooks and masterminds of fleecing the coffers.

    Chapter Six of the our new constitution that basically entails Leadership and Integrity Act, looks like a printed joke.

    Almost every elected member of parliament or even the senate has a case or piles of cases to answer, defend and mostly, clear their names.

    Kenya’s economy has been crippled by massive fraud, multi-billion graft and high-end forgeries all courtesy our elected and appointed officials.

    Francis Ole Kaparo, the chair of the now dysfunctional NCIC has also not been playing his role.

    This has created a niche that encourages hate speech and incitement to violence from the mouthy government officials.

    The corruption that is in this country is unbelievable.

    All scandals are linked from one member of the parliament to another corrupt deal cleared by a member of Senate to another fraud that touches the Executive which leads to another corrupt clearing by the Judiciary.

    In a working democracy, The Leadership and Integrity Act laws are supposed to be governing the government officials.

    Also, Public Officer Ethics Act is supposed to be working according to our new constitution.

    Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission was crippled when the President appointed a retired Archbishop, Eliud Wabukala, to leader and govern corrupt government officials.

    Actually, our constitution has well thought out Laws that can actually work to make our country better and great.

    These acts are supposed to be governing our members of the national house of laws.
    a) Parliamentary Privileges and,
    b) Parliamentary Powers 2017,
    c) National Assembly standing
    Orders and,
    d) Speaker’s Rules.

    Over 50 Legislators in the August house and another 30 from the Senate have active cases of Criminal Offences.

    But the most affected ones are members of the parliamentary committees.

    These legislators have active cases and allegations of extortion, bribery, corruption, breach of parliamentary acts and national assembly orders.

    Parliamentary committee members are the master chiefs of all major fraud and scandal not forgetting the massive bribes they collect to clear corrupt dealings within the houses.

    Samuel Kimeu, the Executive Director of Transparency International says very little has been done to realise the full functions of the Constitution.

    “Until we get a way in which State officers can lose benefits and stature when charged in court, we may not make much constitutional progress,” Mr Kimeu told a local press.

    National Council of Churches in Kenya Secretary General Peter Karanja also said that a rogue legislature, couple of selfish politicians and their cronies enacted laws that washed out the much needed Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

    An allegation that the National parliament speaker Justine Muturi refused to comment about when he was contacted by the investigators of this site.

    The National Assembly published last year that, there is an overlap between the Parliamentary (Powers and Privileges) Act 2017, the Leadership and Integrity Act and
    the Public Officer Act.

    With that out and aside, Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria was charged today with assault, incitement, resisting arrest and causing disturbance at a Nakuru based Police Station.

    The Police said that the MP slapped a deputy sub-county commander when he was being questioned about the land grabbing allegations.

    David Gikaria was on 28th of January arraigned in court on eight counts of land fraud.

    On 25th June this year, Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama was also arraigned in Nairobi’s Milimani anti-corruption court on charges of conspiring to defraud Mr Ahmed Muhammad land in Nakuru Municipality in August 2015.

    Mr Arama was also charged of Misleading Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission investigators.

    The notorious Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri was on also arrested arrested for assaulting a lady traffic officer in Nakuru Town.

    He was later released by the court after they agreed to settle the matter privately.

    Bobasi MP Innocent Obiri is still fighting in the corridors of justice after he was charged with breach of peace by a Kisii High court.

    Mr Obiri was arrested and charged alongside his bodyguard Charles Nyakweba, who was charged separately of assault and malicious damage to property.

    Former president of Lamu County Issa Timamy was also charged with terrorism in 2014. A case that has been mentioned for over 4 years now.

    Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi was earlier last year sentenced to four years in prison with an alternative fine of Sh1 million.

    He was charged and found guilty of assaulting two police officers during ODM party nominations in April 2017.

    Lugari MP Ayub Savula has a case to answer on charges of fraudulently obtaining Sh122 million from the Government Advertising Agency (GAA).

    Embakasi North MP James Gakuya was last year charged jointly with 12 others, of acquiring fraudulently Sh39.9 million from National Government Constituency Development Funds.

    The mouthy Sirisia MP John Waluke was arrested over corruption allegations that he denied at preliminary investigation but later a city court said he has a case.

    The controversial Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter was charged alongside two businessmen with multiple counts related to forgery of Sh633 million Treasury Bills.

    Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi, who was a principal secretary, was in October last year charged with hate speech against the Presidency.

    Jiggers are tearing apart thousands of the families in the larger Gusii region.

    Most of the affected counties are Kisii and Nyamira.

    For instance North Mugirango constituency, Nyamira county, almost all family members are infested with the deadly jiggers.

    In Kisii County, Kitutu Chache North and Kitutu Chache South are the areas that has worst jigger infected families.

    Ahadi Kenya through their CEO and Founder Stanley Maina Kamau says Ebitono, Getengereri and Orwaki villages are the worst affected and needs government intervention.

    Ahadi Kenya Trust is a Not-for-profit Organization that was started in 2007 by Stanley Kamau.

    It focuses mainly on activities that help and promote eradication of jiggers.

    Currently Ahadi Kenya Trust has registered over 3 million jigger infested Kenyans.

    This number is totally worrying and heartbreaking statistics from a non governmental group in presence of our government.

    Martha Ogoti, a primary school teacher from Kericho Says so many of her pupils from Nyamira dropped out of school due to Jigger stigmatization.

    Martha Ogoti, is the founder and chairperson of Minto Anti-Jigger Campaign Group.

    A self help group that helps pupils and families mostly affected by jiggers in Nyamira County.

    Joseph Ongambi, a jigger infested man from, Nyag’enche village of Nyangena location in Kitutu Masaba told a local press that all of his family members are infected.

    Ongambi holds a believe that his neighbour is the one that bewitched him, his wife and their 4,6 and 8 year old children.

    Ongambi told the writer of this site that his wife has been diagnosed with anaemia because of the ‘witch’ sent jiggers.

    He also believes that the witch neighbour was envious of his progress in life and used dark force to infest her tippler and anaemic wife with jiggers.

    The act that has torn apart his family and made their lives more miserable.

    Poverty and poor hygiene is the root cause of the jigger menace in the counties.

    But Charity groups are throwing strong blame to county government for not creating much awareness and even supporting their initiatives to eradicate the jiggers.

    Samuel Nyangeso, former Kisii town Mayor supported the allegations from charity groups and urged Gusii political leaders to be forcefully enjoined in the fight against jiggers.

    This is not the first time jiggers are tearing apart families in our country.

    2 years ago, Jiggers almost wiped out Kenyans residing in Kiambu and Murang’a were it not for governments interventions.

    This came after consistent cries from Ahadi Kenya Trust Chair Stanley Kamau and 2005 Miss World Kenya winner Cecilia Mwangi.

    Nothing much seems to be working even though Jubilee government declared March 3 of every year a national day in togetherness to fight against jiggers.

    The government is supposed to invest in a comprehensive survey that will unveil the exact number of people affected by jiggers countrywide.

    The government needs to intervene with most urgency because the traditional method of using unsterilized pins and blades to remove the jigger is not only dangerous to the affected person but also risks getting foreign transmissible viruses like HIV.

    The government of Kenya launched Huduma Namba an initiative that had been collecting all details and bio data of Kenyans who volunteered to register.

    First, it was a voluntary process, that later the government through it’s Interior services Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi, imposed drills of threats that it’s key to all government services.

    The government also invested in a scare drill through Communication Authority Chair that it’ll switch off all SIM cards of those that will not register for Huduma namba.

    Which doesn’t make sense at all. If the government already knows citizens who are not yet registered on the namba, why else do they need to register?

    But it should be to everyone’s knowledge that Huduma namba has totally nothing to do with nor linked to any form of delivering government services.

    Either way Jubilee government has not been good in either case, at offering it’s mandatory services.

    They surely don’t need namba to offer services neither do we need that Huduma namba for us to get government services.

    Jubilee administration is full of corruption and corrupt leaders. Wit full of projects that swindle the State.

    The President has been appointing corrupt people to represent his administration and our country in and outside the country.

    This is coming at a time when almost, if not all, of government initiatives and services filled with massive graft scandals.

    This is the only government initiative that recorded very less, almost none, criticism.

    This raises red flag on what’s the main reason behind this government sponsored Huduma namba initiative.

    Everyone who is over 18 years in Kenya has a unique Identification Number. This is linked to almost every services you may require in this country.

    Services like buying or selling properties, opening a bank account, accessing your accounts, insurance, accessing health services, traveling in and outside Kenya and many more they are all linked to ID cards.

    This is not the only number the government of Kenya wants us to have, all of Kenyans by birth are issued with birth certificates, which also have a unique “service” number which mostly are used to register students and pupils.

    From Driving licenses, KRA PIN numbers, passport number, index numbers, License number and many more more numbers

    Kenyans are tired of having ‘Unique service numbers’ that majority are irrelevant and not part of government services.

    The President should now explain to Kenyans why the tax payers are losing money to this irrelevant initiative.

    Who is this that has landed the multi-million tender for printing new Huduma cards?

    Who is this that will supply the Huduma namba database software?

    Who is benefiting from the tender to supply computer hardware and most important, who’s gonna bag the multi-billion-shilling system maintenance contract?

    That’s the only way we will know the dark forces and companies behind the Huduma namba initiative that is already swindling the coffers.

    Kenya has been facing multiple cases of election rigging and government breaching and snooping on citizens privacy through their telecommunication and biometric data.

    This is not the first time our government has invested in initiatives that made massive losses.

    We all know of SGR, Galana- Kulalu irrigation scheme, Afya House scandal , multi billion Dams scandal , NYS, class 1 Laptops and not forgetting Sh1B oil spill scandal at KPC.

    The initial reports indicate that the Huduma Number innitiave will cost over ksh6 Billion. This is also said to triple up if you include maintenance services.

    This initiave comes amid the much anticipated Ksh 25 Billion national census

    Is the government committed in offering serious services to common mwananchi or they’re just concerned with their own plans to swindle while it lasts.

    We are waiting for the official response from KRU Bosses about the off pitch issues that are tearing apart our national rugby teams.This is not the first time ugly face of rugby management is coming to the surface.

    Last year during the World Sevens Series in Paris, players staged a cold protest when they concealed the Brand Kenya brand who was a sponsor.

    Shujaa had met with Brand Kenya and KRU CEO and it was announced the board had come to sponsor the team to a tune of KSh 20 million for a period of eight months. Brand Kenya boss declared each player would be given a token of KSh 100, 000 in form of cheques in appreciation of our exemplary performance.

    KRU boss interrupted the payment plan and asked Brand Kenya to send money to the union which would in turn channel it to their accounts. Players were never paid until a serious online protest was staged. It’s disturbing seeing how our boys who bring pride to the country are being treated with utmost disrespect. Mismanagement in Kenya’s sports especially rugby is a cancer that need to be cut off.

    Which are your favorite foods? As you think of the answers, Thomas Odembo, a 35 year old watchman by profession from Ogongo village in Nyatike Sub County has chameleons, lizards and tortoises as his favourite food.

    Mr Odembo says he developed appetite and interests on chameleons, lizards, tortoises, cats and dogs when he was employed as a guard for a Chinese supplier.

    Odembo who rears his own animals to feed on in his compound says everyone should try his tastes.

    “These food is actually healthy and totally sweet that any other red or white meats that people are eating.” Odembo told a local daily.

    “I have lost appetite for cow and goat meat. I don’t eat pork too. I have enough chameleons and tortoises for myself and I’m ready to supply the village the surplus,” Odembo said.

    “I took chameleon last night for supper, this tortoise was brought by a neighbor who found it in his garden,” Odembo said.

    Odembo the father of seven says he learnt how to rear and prepare these animals from his former bosses, the Chinese.

    Odembo says the Chinese eat these animals and they don’t affect them. He is urging all the fellow village people to start embracing this new diet.

    Odembo went ahead and explained that the animals taste just like ordinary meat.

    “My favourite meal time and again is reptiles especially snakes, lizards, chameleons and tortoise. My wife, Pauline Akoth and my seven children don’t eat my food. They call it trash and poison” Odembo explained.

    The Court Has Refused To Admit The Confession Of Julius Wambua Musyoki’s Daughter That She Faked Her Rape

    Justice delayed is as much painful as justice denied. Julias Wambua Musyiki’s appeal evidence against his life imprisonment sentence has been dismissed by the Court of Appeal.

    Wambua had appealed his sentence through his advocates, Cyrus Maweu and Mike Mwema. He said he decided to appeal the case since his daughter, who the inmate was accused of raping, had confessed of lying to the court.

    Wambua’s daughter who was featured in a citizen TVs production, #PrisonDiaries, confessed before cameras alleging that she was forcefully coached by the mother to lie in court that the father had defiled her. She was 10 years as by 2011.

    The Appellate Court head, Justice William Ouko in company of Justice Wanjoru Karanja and Justice Jamila Mohamed dropped the request by Wambua’s legal team to add her daughter’s confession as the evidence in his sentence appeal.

    The Appellate Judges said the period to submit such requests to the court from the convict had already lapsed according to the court-set timelines.

    Wambua’s advocates contended that the court was being unfair to the convict. The advocates said the court was not keen in questioning the prosecution evidence and witnesses.

    Wambuia through his lawyers said that the court never gave him a chance to defend himself despite him willing to pay for all the medical tests and checks. The court convicted Wambua in bad faith because of the alleged crime.

    Moses Ome’rera, the prosecution lawyer objected the inmates evidence saying that the submission will need to re-open the case with another set of witnesses to recant the testimony in the already closed case.

    Counsel Ome’rera did not disagree with the inconsistency of the dates as claimed by the appellant. He said that Wambua belongs to jail because all the previous testimonies true.

    Wambua is currently serving a life imprisonment sentence at Kamiti maximum security Prison. He was sentenced in 2011.

    While majority of women in Kenya’s urban areas are struggling with obesity and weight loss, a breed of women have emerged that are doing everything to gain weight.

    City women are now using antiretroviral (ARVs) to enhance their body mass and weight in well-organized groups of 10 from a popular social media app.

    These women are first brought together through posts who later form or added to Facebook groups. Majority are always resistant to enter into this perilous and prohibited act at first.

    Sources to the writer indicate that the Facebook groups are used to lure and convince the naive and unsuspecting souls who are desperate to gain weight.

    Many of these women are willing to do anything to get to their anticipated weights. Majority also don’t know where to get the ARVs.

    The source further says that the willing group members are later taken to a city pharmacist who sells them ARV drugs at Ksh 5,000. The now-unnamed Pharmacist is allegedly HIV positive. That’s how he’s able to access the drugs more often.

    The prescription runs in a year.  With some women saying that they would only stop taking drugs when they hit the weight of their choice.

    Dr Patrick Gichohi a HIV-AIDS specialists states that injection of ARVs in a healthy body changes the distribution body fats. Majority of Nairobi women confuse it with body and weight gains.

    “Various antiretroviral drugs, for instance Efavirenz may possibly cause psychiatric complications.  Whereas protease inhibitors, anti-HIV replicator drug, may well elevate levels of cholesterol,” Dr. Gichohi revealed.

    The HIV-AIDS specialist also said that ARV will have calamitous effects on their bodies sooner or later.

    Opposition Leader From Western Involved In Sh400M Gold Scam

    Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum the leader of Emirate of Dubai has filled complain to Kenya that an opposition senator has conned the Royal family Ksh 400 million of gold.

    The opposition senator is among a gang of six cartels that are under the keen eye of DCI’s investigations of their involvement in the Gold scam. The gold fraud has implied strong complaints from the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

    The DCI is trailing a scheme that saw the royal family scammed multi-millions allegedly to secure a release of 5 tons of gold that had been purportedly seized at JKIA.

    The Directorate of Criminal Investigations says the alleged seizure was, supposedly, to be the first batch of a 23 tons gold shipment that was to be illegally brought in the country from DRC.

    The trail has unraveled that the opposition senator flew to Dubai severally to persuade Royal Family that he has associates who would release alleged seized gold.

    The said opposition Senator, a politician and a businessman who runs a private jet leasing company at Wilson Airport have since denied all the allegations from the Royal family.

    Preliminary investigations show that the scheme started September 25, last year when the Senator and his group approached a nephew of Sheikh Maktoum, Mr Ali Zandi. Ali is a representative of Dubai based gold trading company, Zlivia.

    The cartel told Mr. Ali that they can deliver 4.6tons of gold from DRC. They had secured services of a Russian gold dealer who wanted down payments and transportation charges to Dubai.

    The senator and his cronies contacted Mr. Ali on September 27 alleging that the gold consignment had been incarcerated by customs officials at JKIA.

    Investigations indicate that Massoud Zandi a representative of Zlivia Gold Trading Company called the Senator for help and on 15th December last year the opposition senator flew to Dubai on the invitation of Mr. Zandi.

    The senator demanded cash to ease the release of the alleged confiscated consignment. Mr. Zandi was of the contrary opinion and flew in the country on 24th December last year with hopes of meeting a senior Kenyan government official.

    Mr Zandi could not manage a sit down with the government official instead the senator and his cartels took Zandi to JKIA and showed him sealed boxes allegedly holding Gold.

    On January 21, this year, Zandi was secretly moved at night to meet a Cabinet secretary imposter at a Karen Hotel. The senior government imposter met Mr. Zandi in a car in the presence of the Senator.

    They, the Senator and the CS imposter guaranteed Zandi that his Gold will be released in a week time after he flies out back to Dubai. Zandi says he has neither received his gold nor heard from the six cartels months later.

    Sheikh Maktoum has forwarded a written complain to Kenya through the Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i. The Royal family leader has requested immediate actions to those involved in masterminding a gold scam against the Family.

    Sheikh decided to contact the government directly after the cartels lied to him that the delay to release the consignment was caused the DusitD2 attack.

    “Nevertheless, now we need your immediate and strong action to release the totality of Zlivia Gold shipment to UEA as soon as possible and accordingly to the instructions by our General Manager Mr Zandi who is there in Kenya to organize the shipment.” Quote from the Sheikh’s letter to interior CS dated 20th January.

    Since the Shiekh wanted the matter to be solved as soon as possible, a Russian national Yulian Stankov and Mohammed Rashi both wanted international scammers were on Friday arraigned before the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi. The two are said to be in connection of the Ksh 400 Million scam.

    Investigators told the court that Stankov did not have any identification documents. He was arrested after saying that he’s shipping 5tons of gold to Dubai.
    DCI Investigators demanded the permission to access cell phones of the accused persons to aid in the investigations of their involvement in the gold scam and other related Cybercrimes.

    Our desk has received information of couple of Instagram accounts that are luring girls into prostitution.  Nairobi girls are being lured into sex for cash business in what is termed as private parties and businesses in foreign countries.

    The Instagram Direct message post says an agency in Nairobi has orders from sponsors who offer cash for sex.

    They even claim to have a quotation of  Ksh 50 thousands for a single sex session. They convince unsuspecting girls that they conduct vital tests before joining the agency.

    Instagram has been flooded by photo maniacs’ celebrities and fake Socialites who are actively promoting prostitution.

    Socialites have taken over the Instagram app.  Currently majority of gram users are Posting and sharing travel pic and the Porsche lifestyles.

    Instagram is now a certified prostitution platform.  The platform has verified sex for cash accounts that have misled the entire generation.

    Young girls are tricked to joining agencies that later connect them to sex addicts in Dubai, Qatar, UAE and many other destinations.

    Fake lifestyles posts and big currency quotation are key things these slavery agencies invest in to lure young naive girls.  With some posting fake ownership of businesses on some of the world’s greatest destinations.

    Many cases of sexual assault and abuse have been reported by Kenyans working in diaspora. Some who Kenyan embassy had no idea they were in the respective foreign countries.

    So many young naive girls’ minds have been besmirched by fake travel pics and lifestyles on Instagram. Majority have been enticed to travel to foreign countries like Dubai, Qatar and other Middle East countries only to get sexual abused and assault.

    Instagram has turned a blind eye on the increased sex for cash and sexual slavery promoting agencies on its community.

    They also have verified socialites with fake lifestyles. The same people who are alluring girls into prostitution in foreign countries.

    This makes them accomplices in the now most famous activity on their platform.

    Keeping law and order has been proved to be every country’s biggest agenda. No one is safe until they feel safe. As much as safety starts with you, there are State personnel specially and specifically deployed to make sure there is law and order.

    Keeping law and order in Kenya is the mandate of the Police. Who operate under Kenya police Service. In well and clearly divided divisions, the Kenya Police Service make sure there is law and order as well as justice.

    These are the people who make sure that our rights are protected. They make sure there’s a calm environment that promotes political stability hence economic development. These are same people who literally have the nation’s security details at their hands.

    Now, when we start hearing and reporting the cases of police imposters scattered everywhere in our country makes our entire security setup a joke.  This causes lots of unnecessary instability. This discloses a lot of loopholes in our security set up. These imposters make people start thinking about how to protect themselves.

    Our security system was supposed to guard us internally and externally. This goes with a very thin margin of era. As I write this, I have been a victim couple of times to these police imposters. First was administration Police with a fake combat. Then Traffic police with unmarked reflector jackets and funny radio calls.

    But many people get into bad hands of plain clothes officers.  A lot of people are extorted by civilians pretending to be corps. This even gets worse when such imposters get hold of the real police radio calls and handcuffs. One wonders if they collude with The Police in service to commit these crimes or they have their way in, to our security system.

    Again, I was recently arrested by Police imposters who refused to talk to someone I had saved with a name similar to the Police spokesman. They even refused to take me to a nearby Police station. I had no cash on me and was not willing to provide any. That angered them and made them chain me for more than 5 hours in their Toyota wish car that had dusted plates. I was, fortunately, let loose after getting money from a friend who brought it in cash. They also ‘caught’ other citizens who paid off their freedom.

    How will we notice that these aren’t the Police? Our security set up works differently according to; who you are.  Where do you come from? Where do you stay? Rule and divide.  Divide and rule. Then protect. There is a section of people who can’t be arrested without a warrant. There are people who can’t be arrested without seeing and verifying the police identifications.

    Then there are the majorities who have no clue of what to check, demand or even do. They just get arrested and start negotiating for their release price. Well, everyone should agree with me that that is just the way these Police Officers operate. The public knows that the police will always charge you with an offense. Be it framed or not, no judicial officer cares as far as the police say so.

    The police have neglected the fact that they are supposed to introduce themselves. With all the identification of them being hidden, arise the cases of police impersonation. Hidden identities are the cause of all these menaces.

    It’s also the duty of the government to make sure that police identifications and budges are hard to fake and easily recognized by the civilians.  We all have duty to protect ourselves and others, which includes those who protect us and the nation at large.

    Kenya is a failing State and Police are still using colonial tactics to make our streets safer again. We have Police in our countries capital City that care less about law and order yet they are the ones that are mandated to do the very same thing. ‘Kukula na kirauni” that’s what folks know. At night in Nairobi, you get arrested for nothing and you have to pay something to be freed. The system is skewed against men and media has been used to shield this and portraying men as ‘city gangstas’.

    If security starts with me, then I have to be well equipped with knowledge concerning the security and part of the basic security details every single citizen should know.

    So many questions are arising from governments huduma namba initiative. With some people saying the state institutions are demanding the namba to give you services.

    On the forefront of the accusations was the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI).

    People had alleged that the DCI officers are demanding for Huduma namba for applications and renewal of Certificates of good conduct.

    The DCI refuted the allegations and termed the claims as false.

    They have clarified that its officers are not demanding from anyone Huduma Namba in exchange for the more important government service.

    The DCI also urged Kenyans not to fall to claims it will only serve those who have registered for huduma namba.

    The DCI tweeted this on their official twitter page:

    They also went ahead and encouraged people to report any misleading material they spot on any online platforms.

    The tweet came hours after reports emerged online From a Kenyan on Twitter under the username [@m_mugo88] alleging that there was no services for those who haven’t registered for Huduma Namba.

    Cocaine, marijuana, crack and blue tabs have high consumers in schools. A lot of comrades are active drug users and addicts.

    We have received information from our sources about the increased cases of illegal drug use and prostitution in Nairobi’s Technical University of Kenya.

    Suspended students from TUK and expelled comrades of TUK have turned to biggest drug peddlers in the institution.

    These former TUK comrades are peddling cocaine and marijuana inside the technical university of Kenya.

    The illegal business happens behind Block Q~ which the majority know it as Block Z.

    Our sources says these marijuana peddlers mainly reside from Nairobi’s Mathare slums.

    They link up with former TUK comrades behind block Z for cracked cocaine from South B.

    These peddlers are said to be mixing marijuana and cocaine. A mixture that is highly effective and dangerous for your health.

    With other selling crack blue tabs and rolled cocaine to unsuspecting Students.

    This has been the main cause of rise of drug addicts in the institution.

    Some students are also involved in prostitution behind the same Block Z. Lack of money to buy the hard drugs and some students sleeping around unprotected only to get free cocaine to sniff and smoke because of addiction.

    These gang of peddlers operate their illegal business in open daylight. Many and majority of their customers are TUK students.

    Student leadership in TUK has raised concerns about the peddlers to the relevant authority.

    Some comrades, who are actively in TUKs leadership say that the Authorities are aware of this business and seem to be offering the peddlers ‘protection’.

    Current TUK student leaders have called for immediate actions before they take the matter in their hands.

    The students leaders have called for ‘Operation okoa block Z’. They’re demanding it to be demolished or put into active use to scare away the peddlers.

    They have also blamed the TUK handlers for not involving the police in all this menace happening inside the institution premises.

    Scientists have tested money and phones from 395 food handlers in 15 different types of outlets in Nairobi County and confirmed the two items to be highly-tainted with disease-causing germs.

    The researchers collected money from the food handlers in every denomination of the Kenya’s currency.

    The money underwent through a thorough test for eight types of Disease Causing Organisms.

    All of the tests confirmed positive of the DCOs. Of these, 20 per cent were food-borne pathogens.

    The Sh 50 and Sh 20 denominations were the most tainted. Researchers believe that it’s because they have a possible wide supply and circulation. With Sh 1, 5 and 1000 being the least contaminated.

    Staphylococcus species of germs that have been medically proven to cause skin, heart and bone infections, food poisoning and pneumonia were mostly present to all the denominations.

    Bacillus species of pathogens were also present. The pathologist say these may cause food poisoning, shock, meningitis and blood poisoning.

    E coli was also present on coins. The contaminant is usually from human Feaces. The contaminant is the root cause of most of urinary tract infections.

    Phones were also tested and confirmed to be contaminated with 12 types of pathogens.

    Staphylococcus,E coli, Pseudomonus and Klebsiella species were the most common.

    The study reports that over 60% of people don’t wash their hands and an equivalent of 34% had no knowledge of food handling.

    This is has been recorded as the the second time KEMRI is warning Kenyans over the health risks of handling money and foods.

    Cryptosporidium parasites were also present on the coins. These parasites causes serious diarrhoea in children.

    Independent medical researchers have refuted KEMRIs studies saying the germs present on coins and notes are less harmful.

    While KEMRI says some types of parasites found on the coins, especially from butchers are contaminated with Zonootics.

    This disease can be transmitted from animals to human.
