TRAGEDY: Kenyan Hospitals Don’t Have Running Water In The Emergency Surgery Theaters

Kenyan doctors have been trying to clean the rot that has been infiltrated deeply into our health system but have been face-slapped by luck of support from the very public they fight every day on their duty to save as many lives as possible no matter the conditions they are working in.

Just over a year ago, Kenyan government made a backdoor deal with crooks in the KMPDU and jotted a deal that saw Cuban doctors flown to Kenya to ‘boost’ rather curb scarcity of doctors in the rural areas of this country. The reality is that Kenya has so many unemployed yet qualified doctors and the country doesn’t need any foreign help whatsoever.

Also, we have Kenyan doctors who collude with other foreign nations and private health institutions to swindle Kenyans who seek medical services. The senior editor of this site highlighted the case here.

Away from this, Deputy Secretary-General {KMPDU}-Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists & Dentists Union Chibanzi Mwachonda has laid bare in a video he posted on his twitter handle stating that Doctors are using IV fluids to sterilize their hands before and after surgery because there are no water running in the Hospital taps

A video that was quoted by the Secretary-General & CEO – Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists & Dentists’ Union (KMPDU) and Co-Chair – Health Workers For All Coalition Dr Ouma Oluga stating that Kenyans should back the Doctors move to save lives and rectify the mess that is in our health system.

Is this the way we want things to happen in this country? Have you ever experienced such a terrible experience in the hospital? Can you rather are you willing to support our local Doctors and medical practitioners in cleaning up such mess in and from our Health sector?
