Famous respected scholar Yussuf Abdiwabab Ali has been charged at the Kibera court.
According to the court papers, He alledgly assaulted his estranged wife Fatum Omar after serious domestic squabbles.
The court heard that he committed the offence on May, 17,2023 at heartlands apartment in Kilimani Sub-County within Nairobi County.
He denied the charges and he is out on bond.
The case will proceed later next month for a further hearing
